• How often do you drop new items?
A: We post new items bi-weekly, every Saturday at 6 PM (EST). Make sure to sign up for our newsletter and follow us on social media for sneak peeks so you don’t miss out!
• Do you accept returns or exchanges?
A: We do not accept returns. Please see our “return policy” below for more information.
• How do you define the condition of the items you sell?
A: Although we closely inspect our items, due to the nature of recycling, repurposing or rehoming items that are pre-loved, the condition may vary and some defects may be present. We will note substantial defects within the item’s description along with a condition category. Please see below for further information for “Condition Descriptions”.
• Do you clean the items prior to selling them?
A: Items are either washed, steamed or dry cleaned prior to shipment.
We do not accept returns at this time.
Transparency is important so that you know exactly what you’re getting and you’re happy with your purchase!
During our selection process, we examine each item in detail to check for quality and flaws. We are very honest in our selection and grading process, so please read all descriptions carefully.

• DOMESTIC ORDERS
Orders will be shipped within 2-10 days of purchase via USPS. During this time, the items will be going through final inspections, cleaning and prep for shipment.
Once the order is ready for shipment and a tracking number generated, you will receive an email confirmation with this information.
Please anticipate a 2-10 day shipment period for domestic packages. Shipment periods begin once the package has left the post office facility.
• INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
International packages are sent using first class mail or DHL (upon request).
We do not account for any custom clearance taxes, duties or fees in the price of our items or cost of shipping.
All costs associated with custom clearance are the responsibility of the buyer. Please contact your country's customs office to calculate any and all associated costs before making your purchase.
Please anticipate a 7-10 business day shipment period for international packages. Shipment period begins once the package has left the courier facility. Shipping speeds can be impacted or extended by customs.
• LOST, DAMAGED OR STOLEN PACKAGES
We do not assume any responsibility for items or packages lost, damaged or stolen once transferred to the courier and/or during transit. Please contact the courier’s customer service center directly to address shipment concerns or to file a claim.

SQUARESPACE
Our store is hosted on SQUARESPACE inc. they provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. your data is stored through SQUARESPACE’s data storage, databases and the general SQUARESPACE application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
PAYMENT
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then SQUARESPACE stores your credit card data. it is encrypted through the payment card industry data security standard (PCI-DSS). your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. after that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. all direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI security standards council, which is a joint effort of brands like visa, mastercard, american express and discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

_session_id, unique token, sessional, allows shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc).
_shopify_visit, no data held, persistent for 30 minutes from the last visit, used by our website provider’s internal stats tracker to record the number of visits
_shopify_uniq, no data held, expires midnight (relative to the visitor) of the next day, counts the number of visits to a store by a single customer.
cart, unique token, persistent for 2 weeks, stores information about the contents of your cart.
_secure_session_id, unique token, sessional
storefront_digest, unique token, indefinite If the shop has a password, this is used to determine if the current visitor has access.

As you browse our array of items, please keep in mind, pre-loved, vintage and second hand items can show imperfections and signs of wear.
We have a thorough inspection process that occurs during sourcing, before and after items are cleaned (steamed, washed and/or dry cleaned) and prior to shipment.
CATEGORIES:
Excellent:
Item is in mint or very close to mint condition with minor to no visible wear and tear, with no specific flaws (holes, stains, repairs, etc) to point out.
Great:
Item shows signs of general wear and could appear slightly faded or with a minor flaw in an unobvious place. Item is considered very wearable as is.
Good:
Item appears worn and may have a combination of fading or a minor flaw for instance. Item is considered wearable as is.
Fair:
Item appears worn, and may have visible flaws but is considered sellable (due to its rarity, desirability, authenticity or value) and wearable as is or with repair.
WT:
Item is a secondhand/pre-owned item with original merchants tags (WT) attached. These items can also be graded for their condition (i.e. WT Excellent, WT Fair, etc). In most cases, scoring less than “Excellent” for a WT item is often attributed to the item’s storage condition upon sourcing.
NWT/NWOT:
Item was never worn before and in many cases, new with original merchants tags (NWT) or new without tags (NWOT). However, these items can also be graded for condition (i.e. NWT Excellent, NWOT Fair, etc). In most conditions, scoring less than “Excellent” for an NWT or NWOT item is often attributed to the items storage condition upon sourcing.
New:
These are brand new and/or non vintage items that we may stock to help you complete your look.
JEWELRY, HANDBAGS , HEADWEAR AND FOOTWEAR:
In any instance where a brand, material or metal is unknown, we will define the condition of the items as thoroughly as possible. The staff at ALL THINGS NEW are not appraisers, and therefore highly consider the fairness of our pricing based on comparable market standards, item condition and business operations that allow us to source beautiful pieces for you.
